Pterodactyl

Pterodactyl is a new trick using claw grip from Lucy Inversion Webster.

I am starting with claw grip invert from the pole with my upper hand in cup grip but you can also use regular true grip. I hook my outside leg on the pole.

TIP: If you are not able to do claw grip invert, you can do gemini (outside leg hang), outside hand regrip to cup grip and inside hang regrip to claw grip and you will be in the same starting position.

After that I turn my chest to the pole, extend my upper arm (originally in cup grip) and push with it to the pole by triceps right above the elbow. I slowly extend my upper hooked leg but I am still pusshing my knee pit towards the pole.

TIP: Push your leg and arm towards the pole and towards each other to stabilize yourself.

At the end I move my lower leg down into the straddle position and I am in the trick PTERODACTYL.

From this trick I hook my upper leg back on the pole to go back into the claw grip. From it I am continuing with combination claw grip dismount, claw grip invert into the outside leg hang and I am finishing it with trick apprentice.
