Miniseries Leaning J - part 3

Third part of the series is transition from pole sit to leaning J.

This transition is suitable for intermediate level.

Training steps

  1. side pole sit
  2. grab the pole with the inside hand in face level
    NOTE: elbow is bended
  3. put the outside hand on the pole between your legs to split grip / full bracket grip
    ADVICE: slide with the bottom leg slightly down to make a place on the pole for the hand
  4. push actively with the top leg's inside thigh towards the pole
  5. make a circle around the pole bottom leg and put it on the pole under the top leg
    ADVICE: immediately after touching the pole push with the thight towards the pole
  6. open the top leg to the side toward the same shoulder–> trick JAMILLA
    ADVICE: you can also start in the crush / craddle position, from it turn the body towards the ceiling and open legs into straddle
  7. hook outside leg on the pole
    TIP: you can lower the top hand slightly down or if you feel confident you can relese it off the pole before leg's hook
  8. hook the elbow of the outside arm on the pole under the upper/top leg
  9. bend lower/bottom leg's knee and turn it down so the point of the foot is facing the ceiling
    IMPORTANT: actively press the high towards the pole
  10. grab the ankle of the bottom leg from behind with the top hand (hooked by the elbow)
  11. extend top leg -> trick LEANING J
